Sheetz is suspending all self-serve beverages, including coffee, amid concerns about the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.
PITTSBURGH —Sheetz is suspending all self-serve beverages, including coffee, as another measure to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, the company said Monday.
Customers who want to buy a cup of coffee should use a touch-screen or ask an employee.
All stores will also stop offering self-serve bakery items, including doughnuts and muffins.
“These changes are in the best interest of our customers and employees as we remain a vital resource for our communities,” said Travis Sheetz, president and chief operating officer.
Sheetz said it is continuing daily cleaning procedures with a focus on high-touch areas such as gas pumps, order points, counter tops, checkout lines and door handles.
